Enjoyed this too, so will do it again. I'm going to stick to the same page numbers, as I was a bit ambitious this year it seems, although I do have 6 or 7 over 500 pages on the list this year, so might be OK

Feel a bit of a cheat with my first book of the year, as I read the majority of it last year. I am going to knock the 400 pages I Read last year off my total at the end of the year, and add on the DNF pages. I'm not going to count it as one of my favourite authors though.

I Also tackled a lot of free books last year, I am going to finish the ones I didn't read last year, but focusing on the books I've paid for this year.

Appear to have missed off my doorstep challenge - I'm doing a big books challenge for another group, so changing this slightly this year, and going for books over 400 pages, rather than 500. Target is 10.

Finally finished 11/22/63, really enjoyed it so decided to give it 5 stars. I liked the ending, I know some people didn't. Started another book in the vets yesterday, but not sure about it. Am going to read some reviews and decide about it then.

Tried a historical fiction type of book, gave up at 10%. Then read a short book that lacked substance. Now going to read my first classic, Little Women

Finished Kill Alex Cross, only gave it 3 stars.

Seems I'm behind on both my book and page count. Good job I'm going on holiday next month, might boost it back up.

Finally finished Little Women, not really my cup of tea. I'm also about 5 behind, am sure I'll get plenty of time to read on Friday

Well, I finished another 3 books while on holiday, still 3 behind though. I did get through 2 400+ pages books though. One was 3 book omnibus, might split that down later in the year if I'm struggling. Tracker doesn't seem to be working though, so my page numbers aren't right. I did also read 23% of a book that I couldn't tell you what it was about, so I have a few DNF's to add to the page count this year.

Finished Dead Man's Grip last night, not the most enjoyable Grace story.

Hmm, interesting that the challenge I'm doing best on is the big books, which has meant my page count is good, nearly a third of the way. Need to get reading some paperbacks though, and 3 of those hit my series challenge too. Still 2 books behind, but 74% into one book, and JP books are easy reads (especially when you have a foster cat who is happy to curl up on your knee for an hour)

Finished Short Shockers part 2, quite enjoyable stories, shame Part 1 is unavailable (or maybe not, with the amount I have to read). Going to make a start on The Dark again, think I have a bit more focus this week.

Still one book behind, half way through my series challenge though. Need to focus on some non fiction, it's the only problem with making them bathroom books, they take ages to get through.

Well, despite being behind in no of books I've read, I've nearly hit my doorstep challenge and I think I'm doing OK on my page count. I'm going to read a couple of short books to catch up with number of books, but still have a lot that have over 400 pages.

Really enjoyed The Killing Game, and I do have another by him on my kindle, so hopefully that will be as good. Paperback wise I'm reading the only one that has less than 400 pages, although according to Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ I have read it before, so should be a quick read.

Just finished a very short true story about Annabelle The Possessed Doll, who is the basis of the film The Conjuring. Very interesting read.

Just finished Pity, a story about dog fighting, I really enjoyed her first book, but this was very emotional.

Just finished an apparent re-read, don't remember any of it though. Bang on track again, with 3 books on the go. All bar one of my paperbacks are over 500 pages so think I'll be fine with my page count, just not sure on targets, sure I was ahead this time last year.

Finished two books this week, a collection of short stories by a mix of famous and non famous authors, some good, some bad - I find that quite typical of short story collections. Yesterday finished my first Michael Connolley book, I quite enjoyed it and would read more (good job as I have another of his!). Trying to get the last 20% of Bletchley Park finished.

I noticed you only rated the Mickey Haller book a 3 star. It would be interesting to know what you make of a fuller blown Bosch book. I like both series but find the Harry Bosch books more grown up and more crimey than lawery, which i prefer them.

The other Michael Connolley book I have is The Black Echo, the first Bosch book.

Finished Bletchley Park, it does seem to focus more on the social aspect than the actual work (i.e. one chapter is called Food, booze and too much tea), so I suppose it depends on what you are interested in, and how much you have read previously. I know very little about Bletchley, so I found it fascinating, and learnt things about the war that I didn’t know. Obviously there is limited information about Bletchley due to its nature, so not surprising that there isn’t really anything new. I found it a very interesting read, although certain parts were hard to read due to the subject matter.

Yay, I'm on track!! Really struggling this year, so when I have my week off, my aim is to read at least one book (and in a day, I've picked a 278 page book for that, I read only slightly shorter in a few hours on the train).

Thanks to travelling on Fri, I did finish the book I was reading (only had 20% left), read a full book, and got 11% in another. Now trying to focus on my 500 page Scarpetta book, which I'm struggling with. My kindle book is a short story anthology. Haven't read my non fiction book for a while either.

Am on track number of books wise, but think I'm going to struggle with the number of pages.

Hit my favourite author's target, 2 of them see only second books by that author, but I paid for them and would pay for more, so I think that classes. I've also nearly hit my paperback target

Just finished Syndrome - more enjoyable than his last book, but till got the editing issues.

I have quite a few Thomas Hoover books, but the editing is rubbish. I might just bin them all.

Yeah, I'd be tempted to, I gave up on the first one. Shame as I love medical thrillers.

For the first time this year I think I might hit my page target, especially as I have 2 400+ books on the go. Unfortunately I have to knock off 400 pages, but I'm adding the DNF which may even out. I'm not sticking with naff books this year, so there are a few of them!

Well, I'm 3 books ahead (although one isn't on GR, so the tracker is only showing 2 ahead), and smashed my page limit, most pages I've read for a few years.

hmm, appears I've hit all my targets, and 2 weeks left. Not quite sure how I managed that!! Now to start thinking of next year's books!
