I picked up the full set during the last kickstarter. I listen to everything on audible but liked them too much not to grab physical copies. My 7 year old has been lurking ever since I put them on the shelf. More so after I showed him my name in the last two books. That made them instant gold in his eyes. I've found him looking through the pages a few times and had to fight not to freak out that he might mess one up. He finally asked me if we could listen to the Age of Myth last week. (He had to look at all the books for about 15 minutes to make sure he had the right one)

Its become our new ritual. He finds me each night and we make it through about 30-45 minutes of the book before he starts to fall asleep or wander off. He's obsessed with wolves. I can't wait for him to fall in love with Suri and Minna.

I am very impressed that your 7 year old will listen that long with no visuals. There are also a lot of names to keep track of and some specialized vocabulary. I don’t remember if this series has any scenes that could be awkward to explain, like the brothel in the other series.

That's so wonderful. Thanks for sharing it. I think he will fall in love with Minna.
