We will be reading a selection set in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a world mystery, a book in translation from a woman writer, and a book relating to migration from Eastern Asia.

World Mystery
Nominate a mystery novel set in one of the following South American countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, or Venezuela.

Migration
Nominate a book relating to migration from one of the following Southeast Asian countries to another country: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.

Women in Translation
Nominate a translated book from an female author from one of the following locations in Western Europe: Andorra, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain.

*For our featured world country selection (this month it is Saint Vincent and the Grenadines): If the book selected by popular vote is not written by a native or resident author of at least 1 year, the book written by a native/resident author with the highest votes will also be selected, resulting in two book selections for that country.

I'll also mention another Brazilian mystery author in case anyone is interested in Brazilian mysteries. His first book in his series was all right, but not necessarily my cup of tea; I haven't read any others of his:
