yeah, pretty much! In 9 years we could do that one as a classic, or someone can suggest it in another (non-classic) thread
A modern classic would be a book written after World War I, and probably after World War II, but still at least 50 years old. Why? Because those cataclysmic events shifted the way the world sees itself in irreversible ways.

I'll second The Odd Women. Just read it and it is very good indeed. Victoriana much more real. Would be interesting to hear what others think.
