Ok most everyone has either played or heard of Pokemon right? This challenge will be kind of like that but with reading :)

How you play

Professor Oaks Lab
You begin here, All you must do is comment saying you would like a pokemon and what type you prefer, The Nursery attendant will then comment back with your pokemon information :)

Battle Arena
This is where you go to find other trainers who want to do a Battle/Reading challenge. Once you find someone I will set up a thread for your battle.

Battles consist of 2 players and their pokemon, Pokemon have 4 sets of Moves they can perform each with different power levels, it depends on the book you read how much damage it causes to the other players HP.

EX:
Fire pokemon moves

Slash/5 Damage - Read a book with 100+ pages
Fire Blast/10 damage - Read book with 200+ pages.
and so on!


Pokemon Center
You must come here after losing a battle to regain your pokemons HP, During your stay here you must read a book from a catagory the Nurse provides you.

Gyms
Gyms will pop up in the folder every once in a while, If you want to earn your pokemon badges you must enter and beat the Gym leader.

Pokedex
Here is where I will post your information, like Pokemon level, Gym badges you have earned and so on :)..

It would go on like a Pokemon game :). Could be forever or you can stop after you have finished collecting all your gym badges and beat the elite 4. your information will be saved though incase you ever want to come back and just battle people for the sake of the reading challenge. though of course i will post stuff like Trainer of the Month so everyone will know who the highest scoring trainer is. its mainly just for fun and to keep people reading :D

But i will also add Pokemon tornaments as well for people who are looking for scores and compatitions :).

this challenge makes me want to play videogames again. i might be interested in this but i do start classes soon so i won't be reading as much as i usually do.
