Oh, please Cassandra, don't ask me that, lol. I've read more good books this year (so far) than I did last year, it's hard to recommend!. I'm trying to finish books in series this year, so most of the books I've read so far were part of series.
So far I like John Connoly's Every Dead Thing (supernatural-ish) and Daniel Silva's The English Assassin (spy). Musashi for historical fiction (stand alone, giant book), and books from Flavia DeLuce series.

It seems like this has been a good book year for everyone. I've read more great books this year too! I'll check out some of your recommendations. :)
