Don't Miss Out! Entries close January 15th!

Bookbzz.com will be celebrating World Book Day by announcing the winners of the first bookbzz.com 2015 Prize Writer Competition.

The competition is open to authors with books listed on bookbzz.com who write in any of the following eleven prize categories. First, second and third Cash Prizes are awarded for each category meaning 33 prize winners in all.

Don't Miss Out! Entries close January 15th

Categories are:

Children's
Contemporary Fiction
Young Adult
Fantasy
Historical Fiction
Horror, Ghosts and Fear
Memoir and Biography
Mystery, Detective and Crime
Romance
Science Fiction
Thrillers, Action and Adventure

The competition works on a prize fund basis. It costs $25 to enter but as with prize fighting, the entrance money becomes part of the prize fund and bookbzz.com added $1000 to the stakes...
The competition format means that every $25 entry is guaranteed to get honest professional book reviews

The current Prize fund is $3500

We will update the prize fund total every day so you can see what you're playing for. The question is:
Can you lift the prize writer's purse?

I don't think you will get anyone to buy any books spamming posts in the way you have done here.

Go away and be a loser somewhere else.

Patrick Hodges | 46 comments I just signed up for Bookbzz but something's not working. I created a login and password, but when I click "List Your book", it tells me I need to be signed in... after I've already signed in. Then when I try to log in again (either with my username/password or with FB), the site just spins its wheels indefinitely. Can you look into this?

Irum Zahra | 1 comments Hey everyone! I'm looking for reviews for my Gothic Poetry book Psychaotic: See The World In Red And Black

PM me if you're interested. I can review here and on my Facebook Blog.

Pelmus Razvan | 10 comments Hey bookbzz, do you guys have problem with the site? 2 out of 3 cases it says page not found and I am having difficulties listing a book.

Patrick Hodges | 46 comments Their admin told me this morning that they were having a caching problem. I assume they're working on it.

Gloria Piper | 31 comments Yeah, Bookbzz does seem to have problems. I tried several times to list a couple of my books and finally learned that I needed to type in the number of pages instead of copying and pasting from Amazon because Amazon tends to add more stuff than what Bookbzz wants.

Anyway, with help from the techs I got the two books on, and made it in time to enter Long Pig, my fantasy novella in the contest. This is a good contest to enter because even if you don't win, you are guaranteed a professional review of your book.

Penmouse I joined the group to see if I could find out more about Bookbzz. I've reviewed numerous books, mostly at Amazon, and I received an invitation to review a book that was a Bookbzz runner-up, if I remember right.

I'm not sure what Bookbzz is, but I do know that entering paid writing contests is probably not the best way to promote books. I stay away from reviewing books that have received awards from a paid contest. To me a legitimate contest would be based on NO entry fees and would review all qualified books. Amazon offers a regular contest, I do believe, that features winning authors. I also believe there is no entry fee for Amazon's contest.

Just thought I'd share my comments as it might help some starving :-) authors.
