Jessy (jollybookshelf) Our group has grown so incredibly fast, and sometimes it's difficult to keep up with. In order for a group of this size to run smoothly, there have to be people to moderate and enforce rules (and of course be the welcome wagon). Below are your moderators and mod assistants. This reading challenge lasts for the whole year, so you may as well get to know them!

MODERATORS

What They Do:
Moderators are responsible for creating events, making announcements, choosing assistants, and managing social media accounts (@ReadChallenge).

Who They Are:

Jessica J.: Jessica is a 21 year old university student from Mississippi, USA. She works with infants and toddlers and she
usually spends her free time reading sci-fi, sleeping, or kicking Taylor's butt in ipad games. She runs a blog at Something About Jess.

Taylor L.: Taylor is Jessica's 22 year old boyfriend and he was dragged into this group without a choice. He enjoys geocaching, reading, and playing with his roommate's puppy, and bingeing shows on Netflix.

MOD ASSISTANTS

What They Do:
Mod assistants help the moderators enforce the rules of the group. They will answer questions, welcome new members, and edit topics if needed. All mod assistants are in communication with the moderators, so they know the inner workings of the group.

Who They Are:

Michelle: Michelle was the first mod assistant in the group because she was incredibly active with discussing books (especially science fiction and historical fiction). She loves to cook and browse Pinterest for new up-cycling ideas. She is
currently engaged and has a few furbabies that she enjoys talking about!

Lora: A Potterhead and fantasy fanatic, Lora has recently joined the team of assistants. She has been a member of the
group, however, since the very beginning. Lora is married and has an adorable toddler that she chases around. When she has
the downtime, she enjoys writing and occasionally blogging at .

Britteny: Britteny is a self-proclaimed bibliophile from sunny California. She loves reading and buying books on sale
(especially if they are pretty!). Britteny was recently married so when she's not keeping house, she is watching Netflix and
reading on her Kindle.

Cait: Cait is the newest addition to the mod team! The moderators took notice of her organization. Cait lives near
Scotland and enjoys reading, writing, and walking her dog. She keeps an extensive book journal as well as blogs at .

Zaz: A 34 year old student in France, Zaz joined the mod team before the new year. She enjoys reading, writing, and
photography. Some of her favorite genres are dystopian novels and children's picture books!

So there is your moderator team! We work, attend school, have spouses, etc. just like all of you, but we also want this group to be run smoothly and provide a fun experience for everyone involved. We will enforce rules, but we will also have a lot of fun for the year!

Jessica

I have to say, I wouldn't say that where I'm from is sunny! :-) I live in the far northern coast of California--so it's rainy and chilly a lot. Live near the ocean/bay and near the Redwood Forest!

Cait (clickcait) | 480 comments Thank you for the introduction Jessica. :-)

Jennifer, I live on a little island just off the west coast and I would definitely recommend Scotland as a good place to visit. It's lovely!
