So Lucy and Sean are on vacation and find themselves in the middle of an unsolved murder yet again! Does the author get a pass because this was just a stopover on the way to their vacation or do we call foul?

When Sean agreed to stop in as a favor to his brother, I don't think he expected to find a hornet's nest of problems that would derail his and Lucy's time out vacation. I'll give her a pass, although I think that even if they had rented a private island, just the two of them, they would still have found a mystery.

I’m with you, Anita. I’ll let this one go but if she concocts another mystery during their vacation, I’ll call the foul.

Sean didn't know what he was getting into when he did the favor for his brother. I can see it happening.

I agree, Robin. He had no idea how bad the situation really was. I think he expected to dig around, find the vandals and they would be on their way in a few days, at most.

I give a pass on this one too. There was no way to know this would get so involved. Sean thought this would be an in and out and then they could continue with their vacation.

I'm in agreement with everyone else. Sean did not know that a simple vandalism inquiry would turn into something bigger.
