Lucy and Sean come under sniper fire when they revisit the mine to collect evidence. Did it feel like the shooter was trying to hit them as targets at the time, even though it was claimed that he wasn’t?

I thought the sniper was shooting to scare them off. If he really wanted them dead, he has the advantage to make that so.

I thought he was trying to kill them at first. It wasn’t until he kept missing that I began to wonder. After they got the note, I was sure of it. It really was a stupid plan given their backgrounds and the sniper should have done his homework first.

I also believed the sniper was trying to kill them at first. But after missing several times, I kind of figured he was just trying to scare them.

When he was missing, I assumed he was just trying to scare them off. The note confirmed my suspicion.

Since we didn't know at the time that it was a trained sniper I figured it was someone with bad aim who was trying to scare them off. I thought he was trying to hit them at first because he came so close to Sean when he came out of the mine.
