This looks like such a great list! Once we open up personal folders for 2021 you will be able to transition to that.

Yeah I'll do it eventually, this was more for myself and friends to add any comments, so I could keep it handy when I plan my future buddy reads and book club reccos :D hehe

I just did a HP reread this year. Well worth it haha

This will be my first read!! I'm soo looking forward to it. I've seen the entire movie series 3 times! so it'll be fun reading the books now to see what all I've missed :)

That is a great list, Bibliophile. If you would suggest some of those as buddy reads for next year (once the thread opens in November), there will be probably be plenty of members interested in joining you :)

Sure absolutely, will do it once the thread opens! I wanna read so much next year, esp looking at people covering 100s of books a year. SO many books, so litte time :P hehe

Harry Potter so nominating that as a group read for next year at least the first book!

If you end up liking Harry Potter the Percy Jackson series is very fun.

It's given me an idea to start work on mine, I think my goal for
next year is my TBR ( 525+) and Recommendations (114) . As many as I can get done.

yeahh my TBR is almost 650!! wonder how many years I'll take to finish em all esp when it keeps growing every day :P hehe

Yes Absolutely! There's a groupread already happening, but I want to do this for next year, this year already 3-4 books are in the pipeline :)
Next year HP and Percy jackson :)

You'll be amazed at how different (and better) the books are to the movies. The characterisation of particular characters are so off in the movies!

Absolutely understand this, and this is the most important reason I want to read them :) I spent a huge part of my birthday budget on getting the books :P hehe

I'm a Harry Potter nerd and it's where my knowledge bank is invested into lol, so if you need someone to chat to about it I'm around!!

I love talking Harry Potter and will be more than happy to engage in conversations about everything and anything 😅

How fun! I also have a pretty good idea what I'm going to read next year, although there always seem to be some last minute changes.

By the way, I liked a lot of your non-fiction selections Bibliophile, and I added several of them to my own wish-list.

Seems like a great list! Quite some books I read or that are on my to read list as well ;-) I would just suggest to add some J.R.R. Tolkien, one of my favourite authors^^

Same here for No. 1 Ladies' but I have read all except the latest one. I have How to Raise an Elephant sitting here waiting for the new year. I am surrounded by books to start then and am wondering what to read in the meantime.
