Sounds terrific - tried to order it and cannot complete the transaction unfortunately. I've emailed them to find out how to get past their step 6, but until then, guess I'll mind my own business.

Jan-Feb is our annual Anthology groupread....so this would fit. Perhaps later we can do an AppendixN inspired theme.

Looks fantastic as expected and I love Alex Crispin's dungeon map endpapers and (few) simple illustrations. I remember being home from school on snow days making new D&D adventures and mapping out a dungeon on graph paper. You know the deal; home from school with your brothers, in your jammies, 9am and full of adventuring energy.
The fact that Alex Crispin had some artistic input on this book totally sealed the deal for me personally since I really enjoy the game Escape the Dark Castle which he illustrated (and also composed dark ambient sounds cassette too see youtube if intrstd) (game link )
Thanks again, Clint for the heads up on this.
@Brian I got the whole Escape the Dark Castle line up. Great game and awesome art indeed. The TOC for DnD AppendixN has most of my favorites....plus a few I never read. Must track it down

Mine arrived too. Yep, love those endpapers with the dungeon maps in the old "don't photocopy me" blue & white.
