I finished The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. This fits within the following items:
* A funny book
* A book set in a different country (mainly Australia, a bit USA)
* A book a friend recommended (I borrowed it from Ariane)
* A book by an author you've never read before

I finished The Elite by Kiera Cass. This fits within the following items:
(If striked through, this means I've already used this category for another book)
*A book by a female author
*A book with a one-word title
*A book a friend recommended (Rianne)
*A book with a love triangle
*A book set in the future
*A book you started but never finished (started: 03/11/2014)

If I ever read The One by Kiera Cass (I plan to do so, I have hopes that one will be better than this one), I am able to use it for 'a trilogy', because then I have actually read the whole trilogy.

I finished Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami. This fits within the following items:
(If striked through, this means I've already used this category for another book)
*A book with nonhuman characters
*A mystery or thriller (well, I think it could be classified as such. No idea if this is official)
*A book set in a different country
*A book from an author you love that you haven't read yet (I love 1Q84 and liked South of the Border, West of the Sun )
*A book set in the future
*A book with magic (Again, I would call it magical. It's not the Harry Potter kind of magic though)
*A book that was originally written in a different language (Japanese)

*A book set in a different country (Belgium)
*A book a friend recommended (Ariane)
*A book by an author you've never read before
*A play (Well, technically it is not a play. But I have seen a play based on it, and that felt as a book reading, so I am going to count it as a play. I liked it, though. This was the play: )

*A book set in a different country (Germany)
*A book at the bottom of your to-read list

I finished Just Past Midnight by Amanda Stevens.
I read this because I forgot my e-reader and could buy it as a bookazine for 2,99.
Sadly, it does not fit in any of the categories I haven't used yet, and I am too lazy to find out in which it does fit that are alreadt striked through.

I finished Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. Again, it does not fit in any unused categories, but I wanted to read it because I read the Mortal Instrument series as well. Furthermore it is just some light reading while finishing my thesis (soon! hopefully...)

Margriet Assen | 51 comments Good luck on your thesis, Luella! And meanwhile happy reading!

I finished Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. Just like the two previous books, it does not fit in any unused categories.

Margriet Assen | 51 comments What is your next book going to be? From an unused categorie perhaps? I really like 'A book set somewhere you've always wanted to visit'. I 'm going to remember this for my challenge!

I finished Die unendliche Geschichte by Michael Ende. This is:

*A book with more than 500 pages (mine was just short under this number, but I've seen editions with 500+ pages)
*A book that became a movie (never seen it, but nevertheless...)
*A book set somewhere you've always wanted to visit (visiting your own phantasy seems pretty perfect, doesn't it?)

Camille (camillesbookishadventures) How did you like the book? I only recently discovered it was a book, I loved the film as a child (my dog was even called after the dragon in the story :-)).

I have mixed feelings. The first half was absolutely amazing, but from the moment Bastian entered the land itself, it went downhill, and became boring. I suppose it is just not that interesting if someone has unlimited powers and cannot be hurt. Everything he did seemed 'random'. I have heard that the film covers about the first half of the book, and if it does, I support that choice and definitely would like to see it :)

I finished The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.

I finished Lycidas by Christoph Marzi
I seem to be really bad at this challenge-stuff, because it does not fit in any unused categories. However, reading it was great fun, and, actually, really motivating to read more :)

I finished Maalstroom by Frode Granhus. It was nice, but - again - useless for the challenge...
