Cheryl Olson (girlsmama) | 694 comments I have heard from several of you how you would like to have a "re-read challenge" and so here we are. I know there are many times when I re-read a favorite book where I pick up things that I missed the first time, so why not have a challenge for this one? Here it is.

Levels - 1-5- re-reads- A trip down memory lane
6-10 re-reads- Feels like going home
11-15- re-reads- Memories
15-20- re-reads- re-living the magic
20+ re-reads- All the feels

Tracker- /challenges/...

Ok- who's in?

Bonny (bonnybonnybeth) | 644 comments I started off the year right away with a re-read, mostly because I want to read the second book in the series and wanted to remind myself of the story!

Oh, I loved that series too!
I'm getting very nostalgic just looking at the cover. The Creeping Shadows (Adventures of the Northwoods, #3) by Lois Walfrid Johnson was one of my favourites of the series. I read that one a lot!

message 19: by Bonny (new)

Bonny (bonnybonnybeth) | 644 comments Yay!! So glad we have this "Re-Visiting an Old Friend" challenge to enjoy these old treasures!! I'm planning on reading the next book in the series while it's fresh in my mind, but will need to buy the rest of the series - I only own the first four of the series, and when I read them 20 years ago, I got them either by InterLibraryLoan or at the church library! But with the libraries loaning system shut down from covid, I'd probably be better off buying them from Amazon or something. Besides, I want to complete my set!!

Its been 25 years since I have read these 2 novels. I have to admit they do show their age some, but still awesome reads. Recommend you try them again!
