What do you prefer and why? Which do you think are better?

I much prefer series because I get to read about the characters for a little longer but I often go for standalones, mostly because I get to know how it ends sooner. As to which I think is better, (for me) it wholy depends on the story and the way it is written. I think that series and standalones can be just as good and interesting as long as they are well written.

Hard to narrow it down. Some series are fab and some I'd wish were standalone.

Some standalone were epic and wish it were a series!

But out of all the books I've read till now, there is a slight inclination towards series....

I prefer series because you get to spend longer with the characters and they start to feel like your family.

I love both, but if I have to pick then series. I read a lot so it can be difficult to figure out what to read next. With a series I don't have that problem. I just read the next book lol
