Good Girl, Bad Blood
question
Did you think Charlie was gonna be Layla?

I had no clue that Charlie was gonna be Layla, it was so unexpected. I just thought he was a kind neighbor.
OMG yes I did! I think I learned from AGGGTM and i'm so thankful I wrote down my thoughts while I was reading! Of course, it was still shocking and it didnt subtract from the thrill but you know..you feel proud
i suspected from the start but i wasnt really sure cuz why else would a new character move in andomly into a town infamous for murder? like i wouldnt want to
With them being new characters in the town I knew they would play a part in the mystery, however I thought for sure that Charlie's wife would turn out to be Layla. Guess I was kinda close ahaha.
No, I had no idea. But looking back, he did seem pretty suspicious.
Honestly, I didn't know who Layla was, so no, I was not expecting it, but then when it was revealed I was like ohhhh that makes sense
it was shocking to me , thought Layla was going to be a girl or something

No, i comepletely forgot about her

I really didn't think that Charlie Green was going to be really Layla Mead when he spoke with Pip in the rain. I thought he was one of the best characters in the whole series. His speech was really beautiful, but when I discover he was the bad guy and killed Stanley, my hearth broke in little pieces... I understand that he hated Stanley (Child Brunswick), but it wasn’t his fault 100%. His father did it, not him!
I still love the book, though.

I honestly thought that he was a little suspicious after the porch scene
the moment ravi opened the door to see charlie there i had a feeling. and also the fact that layla's profile on tinder said "less than a mile away."
NO I DIDN'T SEE THIS COMING! I was shocked when I found out that someone so close by to Pip is actually the main base of the investigation!
YES !!!! all of a sudden 2 new characters joining in the book from the FIRST DAY made it sus for me. but i only started thinking abt when charlie and flora started to get more scenes which made me feel sure they had some sort of role behind.
I forgot who Charlie was honestly when I was at that part 💀
I didn't quite expect it. Albeit I was suspicious of everything and everyone while reading it so... idk.
honestly I didn't know it was gonna be Layla to begin with, I suspected Charlie from everything, the moment he was introduced nothing even happened. not to be rude, but I have the best gut feeling in the world!!!!!
I was so shocked, I honestly thought it would be Stanley/Jack for a while because is both the first and second book he was always s suspicious, but i guess we found out why. Rest in Peace Jack Brunswick :(
i honestly had my suspicions about Charlie since the start, but i didnt think he would be layla.
I didn't think they were going to be Layla but I could automatically tell he and his wife were going to be involved somehow in the mystery. They were some of the only new characters introduced and it didn't make sense for the writer to spend so many moments and paragraphs introducing these random neighbor characters unless they were gonna either end up dying/getting hurt or be involved with the crime. Everything they did before the reveal (them saying Jamie broke in and Charlie talking to Pip) all were something other characters could've done.
There really should be some kind of penalty for posting a spoiler.
Awe poor Hasini for reading the spoiler! That's why i dont read comments on books i havent read. Charlie being Layla was a big surprise to me, both books were amazingly written. Usually i can predict the twists, but so many suspects and cleverly written
ahh this is a spoiler for me why did I see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did not see it coming at all until he walked in the farmhouse.
I can’t stop thinking about the ending. I mean, I didn’t want Stanley to die, I felt bad for him but then I felt even worse for Charlie losing his twin sister. His story was heartbreaking, with the hide-N-seek. Geez! It is so true that it is not fair, Charlie’s life was completely ruined and he did nothing wrong while Stanley/Child Brunswick got to live many lives trying to find his place.
