The discourse in c49 about the absurdity of chivalric novels has me thinking they were the Harlequin romance novels of the late middle ages. I think Cervantes is very much poking fun at the genre along these lines.

This week closes the first book. I don't want to say much until someone else is involved, but we know Quixote is being taken home. Am very curious about what the second book will bring.
