Bexley walked around jumping on rocks going back and forth from one side of the creek to the other. She stayed in her fox form and was enjoying the peaceful sounds of the water.
Satan was flying up in the sky with his large, black demonic wings. He flew lower and landed near the stream by some trees.
Bex looked around and thought she heard something, but shrugged it off and continued jumping from side to side her ears twitching softly in the wind.
Satan came out from behind the trees and began to walk next to the stream. He looked around and noticed a fox playing around it.
Bex sniffed the air lightly and looked in the direction of Satan and paused. She stared at him before laying down and curling into a little ball, afraid of confrontation.
Satan had stopped, watching her as she lay down and curled up timidly. He fully expected this reaction, since generally, animals tended to flee or cower down at his presence. And that did not upset him one bit. He smiled darkly before walking a bit closer to her, stopping and turning to the stream. Stepping down into the stream, he sat upon a large rock.
Bex watched him closely before slowly moving a few steps closer and sniffing at him. She hopped on a small rock and merely stared at him. She wasn't sure what to do, she didn't like talking to people.
Satan saw her out of the corner of his eye and turned his head and looked at her. "Hello, little fox," he replied, his deep, menacing voice calm.
Bex's ears lowered slightly in fear before she jumped onto another rock getting a little bit closer. She tilted her head and her tail slowly tapped against the rock.
Satan smirked. "I haven't come here to harm you. After all, I didn't even know you would be here when I arrived."
Bex blinked and finally jumped onto the edge of the rock that he was sitting on and she sat down and stared at him. She lifted her nose in the air and sniffed at him. She didn't know whether to show her normal form or not. She wasn't sure if she could him.
She curled into a ball and stayed completely still. She waited a few seconds before slowly lifting her head up and looking at his hand and then nudging it with her nose.
Satan allowed her to do this, pausing for a moment. Extending his finger out, he rubbed it down her forehead to her nose.
Bex's nose twitched and then she let out a small sneeze. She shook her head and looked up at him.
Satan reached out again and rubbed her forehead with the backs of his fingers, feeling the soft fur.
Her ears twitched and she sat down allowing him to pet her. She was significantly smaller than he was, but he seemed gentle enough. She stared at him and her tail swished back and forth.
Satan began to fully pet her, running his hand down her head to her back and repeating the process. He was bold with petting her, but he remained gentle.
Bex blinked and gently licked his hand. Her ears twitched in happiness and she sniffed at him. She still wasn't sure what to do, but she was thinking about shifting out.
One of the corners of Satan's mouth twitched up a little in a small half-smile when she licked his hand. He rewarded her by scratching behind one of her ears.
Her tail thumped lightly against the rock and she tilted her head and rubbed it against his arm. Then she moved back away from his hand and slowly shifted back to her normal form, of a mix between a human and a fox, since she still had her ears.
Satan felt a smirk creep up when she rubbed her head against his arm. When she changed, the smirk disappeared slowly as he watched her in mild interest. For a cute, amusing little fox, she was certainly beautiful in human form. He wasn't surprised that she changed, since he was quite familiar with running into many shapeshifters in his lifetime. "So the little fox is not what she seems to be," he spoke.
Bex paled some and stared at the ground. "I'm sorry, I just get really nervous around others. I did not mean to be deceiving." She said softly.
"Deceiving?" Satan laughed, the sound of his laughter having a dark, evil, menacing sound to it. "I don't care. I run into shapeshifters like you all the time when I go out into the living world."
She jumped at the sound of his sound laughter and looked at him with soft gentle golden eyes. "I assume there are a lot of shapeshifters? And what is your name?"
Satan glanced down at her, the evil and darkness radiating off him despite his current lack of hostility. "There are many out there of all forms." An evil smile crept up then. "Satan. The Devil himself in the flesh."
Bex blinked not showing any out emotion and then she bit her lip lightly. "Um, it is a pleasure to meet you, your evil highness. Sorry, I just don't get out much, and I haven't talked to many people so I apologize if I sound rude." She said as she crossed her legs and got more comfortable.
She looked at him and smiled shyly. "Bexley, but you can call me Bex if you'd like."
She tilted her head and frowned slightly, "I, honestly don't know. I feel like I've been alive for forever now. Something in our DNA has kept us alive. And you?"
She blinked, "Really? That's pretty cool. Sounds like you could have a lot of fun during all that time."
She smiled slightly and stood up, "This might sound a little weird, but, do you know any interesting places around?"
Satan smirked as he spoke the first thing that had come into his mind when she asked him that. "You mean nightclubs?"
Bex blinked shocked for a second before laughing softly, her laugh sounded like soft wind chimes blowing in a breeze. "Sure, I guess, clubs can be a lot of fun."
Satan laughed. "I have a feeling that wasn't what you were originally thinking. Well, I know of a nightclub not too far away from these parts."
She smiled brightly and nodded her head, "Sounds like fun. Mind showing me the way?" She asked wringing her hands in front of her body.
Satan smirked and stood up, his large, black demonic wings stretching out. "There are two ways to get there fast. Pick your poison," he lightly joked. "Flight or teleportation?"
Bex stared at him for a second and then smiled. "You choose." She said before shifting to her fox form and walking up to him and nudging him softly.
Smirking, Satan bent down and scooped her up with his hand, immediately flying straight up into the sky, leaving the stream.
