Kayleigh (manadottir) | 10 comments I set a monthly TBR, which can be really limiting because there's a sudden pressure at the end of the month to finish my current read, especially if it's a lengthy book.

In order to finish the book I'm currently reading for my last book in June, I downloaded audible and am using the free trial to finish said book while multitasking... lol.

Since I have the free trial for a month, I found some audiobooks that are included with the membership (* denotes included with the premium plus membership):

- The Song of Achilles (one of our botms!)
- A Court of Wings and Ruin
- A Court of Frost and Starlight
- Girls of Storm and Shadow
- The Bridge Kingdom* + The Traitor Queen* (if I like the first)
- Even the Darkest Stars* + All the Wandering Light* (again, if I like the first)
- When Women Ruled the World: Six Queens of Egypt * (non-fiction)
- The Poetic Edda: Stories of the Norse Gods and Heroes * (non-fiction)
- The Saga of the Volsungs with The Saga of Ragnar Lothbrok * (non-fiction)

If I even finish all of them (which I doubt because this is so overly ambitious lol), I'd probably be near my end goal of 40 books for the year. Wishing us all productive reading for July 💫

@Kayleigh omg I can promise you that you'll LOVE The Bridge Kingdom duology, it's just soo good! And also best of luck for ACOWAR and ACOSF, you need them!

Let us know how you found The Song of Achilles though!

Caitlin | 64 comments @iffat I second that The bridge kingdom is really enjoyable but I still need to read ACOSF and The Song of Achilles, I’ve heard there quite good.

message 9: by Mary (new)

Mary I just randomly pile books on my tbr as I go and read them just as randomly but the newest adds are

Empire of Sand
A Court of Thorns and Roses

fiction of various genres:
Circe
Dead Dead Girls
Firekeeper's Daughter
Beach Read

- The Spanish Love Deception because someone on TikTok said it's like The Unhoneymooners
- One Night Only because I liked the cover
- The Fifth Season I heard it's a really good fantasy book
