M Petro | 24 comments Are there any subscribers to The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Asimov's or Analog? I'm a couple of months behind and catching back up. Wondering if there are other on here reading those and if they wanted to chat about what they like, what didn't work for them, etc. I'm currently reading the March/April F&SF The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, March/April 2021.

Christopher | 979 comments I also subscribe to F&SF, but am hopelessly behind in reading them.

M Petro | 24 comments Lol. Me too! I’m working on March now. I canceled the other two subs.

Oleksandr Zholud | 927 comments I subscribed to Asimov's and Analog this year, but decided not to continue - while publications are ok, the method I used - Megzter, doesn't allow to get them to my e-ink reader and this limits my ability to read them comfortably

M Petro | 24 comments I terminated mine because I don’t have enough time to read these and everything else I want to read. I did keep the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. Though, if I were to add another sub to my list it would be Clarkesworld.

Stephen Burridge | 490 comments I have a Kindle subscription to F&SF and an old fashioned paper subscription to Analog. I’m really enjoying Analog, never read it much before. I’ve fallen behind again on the F&SF.

M Petro | 24 comments I really enjoyed all three. I’m more into fantasy that’s why I kept that one because I get both. It’s so easy to fall behind with so much else to read.

I prefer Asimov's to Analog, but the latter gave me a new perspective - I thought that old time scientific SF is dead, for newer venues, which got nominated for awards hardly publish it, preferring (also definitely important) themes of diversity, minority representation, etc
