I've never tried audiobooks so be interested in seeing someone who has answering this question. Btw which app did you use?
Oh I'll check it out but is it free? Yeah maybe you can try another book but not every form of reading is for everyone. Maybe physically reading suits you best...
But Audio books sounds like a good alternate. Like we can listen to books during travel and during daily commutes and so on. I heard we had to buy audio books based on who's narrating it, but it sounds kinda daunting. I don't know if it's free. I paid for the book I read, but I definitely saw something about Free Trial. Maybe you can start there
Yeah they are indeed a really good alternative for the situations you described. And thanks for letting me know. I hope someone with experience on this topic can answer your question.
Also I heard from my friend that some books will have multiple voice actors lending their voice and they said it was like listening to a podcast. And I hope some audio book expert to answer my question lol
Ohh would you like to share the link of your blog? I'd love to check it out and give you ideas (if I come up with any) that you haven't already included!
Choose books that you enjoy to read. For example if you like science fiction then choose science fiction books. It will help you to read faster as you are interested in that genre.
For example if you don't like non fiction then if u choose a book in that genre, it's gonna take you days or even a month (even though it's like only 200 pages) to finish it. U are not interested in that genre so how fast you try to read it will not get finish easily like it will when you read a genre u like.
Hear audiobooks. It will help you to improve your reading speed. Skimming a book also helps. Make a goal.
Something that helped me read faster is timing how much pages I can read in an hour or 30 minutes. My goal was to complete 60 pages in an hour and gradually I developed my reading skill to that level after few books. Also be mindful of the genre. Sometimes we can struggle in a particular genre which stems from the fact that we are not that interested in the story or the genre. Audio books helps too but I couldn't get into it.
Soumasree, I did check out your blog and I found it awesome! You've done such a great work. Here are some ideas I came up with:
-Book reviews
-Releases you are excited about
-Your most anticipated reads
-Recommendations about a specific genre or trope
-An anti-tbr (books you don't plan reading)
-I don't know how else to describe it but this: "if you liked this popular book then read this"
-Show your dream cast for a book
-Answer a tag or create your own
-Compare/discuss cover editions of the same book
I hope you find this helpful!

Anyone has a tip on how to get out of a reading slump? I tried an easy read, I enjoyed it but now I can't read anything else. What do I do?
Reading thrillers sometimes get me out of slump or some Agatha Christie novels. If you feel like it would be too wordy ( especially during a slump ) then you should try some modern whodunnit. They are always exciting since we form theories on who would be the mystery killer lol
But of course bookish tips are welcome and here are some questions to give you ideas on what to write:
↬How to read more and faster?
↬How to make more bookish friends?
↬What are the best sites to order books from?
↬Which do you think are must-buy bookish things?
And of course whatever else you can think of!
