Furciferous Quaintrelle Bex (bad_girl_bex) | 17 comments They're really not that expensive. And I'm pretty sure there are some kind of laws against trying to set up a "used" ebook store. No matter how careful the previous "owner" was.

edge (baconnnnnnnnnn) | 47 comments thats what some "free" ebook platforms do. so you can download their books for free but you need to be a member and in order to be a member, you have to make a "donation"

Abigail (abigaillb) lots of classical books are free, like pride and prejudice or most shakespeare plays on gutenberg.com also, thriftbooks.com sells used books for less, and there’s also always the library!

Audrey (niceyackerman) | 341 comments Bookfunnel has a lot of free indie books. Often it requires signing up for a newsletter that you can unsubscribe from later.

You can lend Kindle books and buy them for others.

Book frog (howtoreadeverybookintheworld) | 2 comments z-lib.org is the website I use. It's not really legal but that's how I download all my books. If you can't access the link, use a vpn.

Melliott (goodreadscommelliott) | 510 comments Why not just check them out from the library?
