SuperKimbit | 59 comments Ghosted in L.A. is pretty unique compared to most things I've read I think. It did kinda remind me a bit of Blackwood.

This book also features supernatural mysteries but with a bit more horror elements. I found it pretty light on the horror personally but there is some gore. a warning if you want to read it, I remember there being some plots left hanging as well, even after the 2nd book. Hopefully it will be continued but I have no idea.

Agree that Blackwood leaves things hanging, too.

´¡²Ô»å°ùé²¹ (fernandie) | 913 comments The new TV show Ghosts seems like a similar premise to Ghosted in L.A., although more comedic.

For books, I think Forever Home by Jenna Ayoub is a similar concept, although for a younger age group. It's a middle-grade graphic novel about a girl who moves into a house occupied by ghosts who aren't thrilled to have new humans around.

For teens, Archival Quality by Ivy Noelle Weir and Taproot by Keezy Young are similar in that they're about humans who befriend spectral presences.

SuperKimbit | 59 comments I think I'd be definitely be interested in reading more like this though if you had any suggestions Andrea. If not no worries. I do ALWAYS have a GN backlog :P

Some others that feature ghosts, although not as directly similar...
Specter Inspectors by Bowen McCurdy (YA)
All My Friends Are Ghosts by S.M. Vidaurri (MG)
Mason Mooney: Paranormal Investigator by Seaerra Miller (MG)
Séance Tea Party by Reimena Yee (MG)
Anya's Ghost by Vera Brosgol (YA)

Russell | 80 comments Yes! I discovered Ghosts and binged it a couple months ago. I definitely liked the British version better than the American version, but they were both really cute and I got invested. The other I have not seen, but keep meaning to check it out.
