Excellent, heart-felt book about a poor, black family and their experiences leading up to and during Hurrican Katrina.

The Great Believers - Rebecca Makkai ⭐⭐⭐⭐�
U.S. States: Illinois
Set in Chicago, Illinois during the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s and also set in 2015. I loved the characters.
