SuperKimbit | 59 comments The storytelling style reminded me of The Complete Maus but I'm sure many other books have used the idea of having a present day narrator telling the story and then bouncing to their present. I'd love to hear some if others have suggestions?

I also really enjoyed Come Home, Indio recently which was a title we didn't select for this month that discusses indigenous identity as well as addiction. I think I liked it more than Redbone because of the emotional weight of the story, but I liked the colours in Redbone better.
