Thanks Sandy! I thought I was being overly paranoid, but today it only shows:

Thriller 116 users
Mystery 66 users
Fantasy 48 users
Crazy how they move around/drop off! I wouldn't have expected for ALL THREE to be gone! haha.

I used that book in the winter for the task with the genre "religion." It was on the main page when I picked it, but, just in case, I had it verified in the help thread. Sure enough, by the time I read the book, it was gone.
Mostly you'll see that with books like these, that lots of people read and shelve in their own special ways...........

Yeah I figured it was likely for one or two of the ones I wanted to fall off, but... lol. Guess that's the way a lot with newer books too being really volatile with their shelves hopping around.

Could I get this genre-confirmed as not having Childrens' or Kids'? Just in case!

Please see the opening post. We will not verify the lack of childrens genre any more. If it's really not a childrens book, and childrens shows up as a genre, you can ask for an override in the Not Really for Kids thread.

Okay. I was just worried that it might get shelved as that by someone because it's in the Young Adult bracket.

Shelved as such by 5 users
The Auspicious Troubles of Chance
I realize I will need ebook approval
Also,
please verify
The Impetuous Afflictions of Jonathan Wolfe
as War>Military (shelved by 4 users)
Thanks!

well, the genre is still there waiting for you to get around to it!

The Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Roses and the Rise of the Tudors, by Dan Jones

Okay, so it now looks like that edition has lost its genres altogether. However, this should be the same book.

The second link does show genres, but war isn't one of them. Why not hang on a little longer, and we'll see if it comes back.
I'm out of town, with very little and infrequent internet, so I'll look again next time I can get on.

Don't worry about it - I think the fates are against it! I'll maybe find something else to use it for.
