Saar The Book owl | 75 comments Thanks, John, that book is on my TBR - pile ;) I've read a lot of cat books already, I'm a huge fan of Jackson Galaxy and I've got 2 cats myself, besides a horse and 2 chickens. And also important: I'm living together with my partner and our 9 - year old son.

Dagmar (decaturmamaoftwo) Hi - Dagmar here, from metro Atlanta area. I love to read (always have) and don't have ONE favorite genre... I mostly *don't* read romance or westerns, but read all else (Thrillers, Crime/Mystery/Spy Novels, Fantasy, SciFi, Literature, historical fiction, history, science, YA, etc etc). Warning that I'm currently overcommitted with stuff going on and not enough time, so may not post a lot, but I do read comments, and TRY to read more books. I recently read Beatriz Williams' "Our Woman in Moscow", just finished Hillary Clinton + Louise Penny's "State of Terror", and about to start Stephen King's "Later".

Hiya, Alix

I'm fairly wierd and nerdy myself - the more popular/mainstream the book, the less likely I am to consider it (though of course there are exceptions).

Yes there will! I read 50-75 NF books a year and am continuing what Lance started over at LOBA in terms of the quarterly read and the "other" NF thread. :) Plus we have a little NF self-challenge going as well!

Hi Desley. I just add up the pages in each book that I read. I guess I just read one or two at a time, maybe if you are reading a few at a time then it might get complicated. And I update them as I go along. Hope that helps you.

I do the same as Ruth and update as I go along. I hadn't done that this month with the move here and it's harder doing them all in 1 go. Especially for the bonus points. So I'd definitely recommend updating as you finish each book ;)

Lisa | 14 comments Hi everyone! I'm Lisa and live in Iowa. I like reading a variety of genres - love a good novel to sink into and have great discussions with friends. But since those can be 'heavy' I love to throw in mysteries and lighter fluffier reads and an occasional non-fiction. Also have started some series over the last year or two. I might have caught that bug from a few of you :) I'm hoping to be fairly active, but work still tends to get in the way.
