Quill (therantingraven) I’m pretty sure this counts as a classic and it’s my favorite book.

Shawna Finnigan (sugoishawn) | 360 comments I've been very interested in this story but classics are always hard for me to get through so I've been too scared to try to read this one :/

Same. Classics are almost always a no-go for me, even if it sounds interesting. :(

Quill (therantingraven) I have the same problem, so I listen to audiobooks for long, dense books like this one. There’s a free one on Youtube, if you think that might help you get through it.

Quill (therantingraven) Do you think it’s more of a horror or tragedy?

A mixture of both to be honest, with just the right amount of realism too.

Mary-Therese P. It felt much more tragic to me. though there is a good amount of horror as well.

Janssen I started reading a manga version of Frankenstein, but couldn't finish it. Maybe if I read the original story it would be better, because it wouldn't have the graphic images. I'll probably get around to reading the original classic at some point in time, we'll see.

Emma (its_emmaaa) | 6 comments I read frankenstein twice because my gf and Victor are the same person and she loves it but that's literally the only reason. it was okayish imo
