Carolien (carolien_s) | 502 comments I have a 2022 project to read Non-fiction books in combination with fiction on the same topic, so will track them here.

And I review non-fiction books for a local farming podcast on a monthly basis.

Fortunately, they are mostly my own picks and I agreed a fairly wide range of possible topics with them.

Ok, that's an interesting idea I hadn't considered.... NF and F on the same topic on purpose (it's happened to me several times by accident). I'll be following this to see what you come up with!

Maybe this resonates because this happened to me this year and both the NF and the F book had the same title.
Star-Spangled Scandal A Novel by Lori Swerda Star Spangled Scandal Sex, Murder, and the Trial that Changed America by Chris DeRose

That would definitely count.

I have things on my list like:
The Spanish Bride (fiction) and Random Shots From a Rifleman (non-fiction, author is actually a character in the other book)

The Road from Coorain (non-fiction) and Murder on the Ballarat Train (fiction) both set in Australia

Travels in West Africa (non-fiction) and Segu (fiction) set in West Africa.

It will be interesting I hope.

That's an interesting idea, Carolien. I'll be checking in to see what books you choose.

Carolien (carolien_s) | 502 comments I finished my first non-fiction/non-fiction combination of the year.
I read The Alpine Path: The Story of My Career which is a short autobiography by L.M. Montgomery as well as Anne of Avonlea and Anne of Green Gables.
