Thanks Carolyn. I enjoy your reviews (balanced). In 2021 I got away with ZERO DNF, so perhaps I'm a bit more selective in my reading choices or have moved away from the extremes. Like I said, boring but manageable. Happy reading.

On the plus side:
# 3 off my TBR / 7 new titles - on track.
# Summer & January challenges completed.
# Calendar of titles - on track.
# A-Z authors 5/26 completed
# COVID 1/14 completed.
Next update ~ 31 March.

Thanks Helen, hope you meet your target too.

Stats:
# 6 off my TBR / 12 new titles - on track.
# Feb & Mar challenges completed.
# Calendar of titles - on track.
# A-Z authors 9/26 completed
# COVID 4/14 completed
Next update: end of May

Chortle! Feels like I'm swimming against the tide, though not caught in a rip. All I can do is keep going. Cheers

Stats to date:
# 9 off my TBR / 14 new titles - on track.
# April challenge completed.
# Calendar of titles - on track.
# A-Z authors 11/26 completed
# COVID 4/13 completed.
Next update ~ 1 June approximately.

Thanks, Helen, For knowing when to quit/pull back? At least we are not in Ukraine, being shelled by a madman.

Stats to date:
# 28 titles finished, 10 off my TBR / 18 new titles - on track.
# May challenge completed.
# Calendar of titles - on track.
# A-Z authors 13/26 completed
# COVID 9/14 completed - so should make it by 31/7.
Next update ~ 1 July approximately.

Thanks Sarah. Alas no. With current family commitments it's hard to read 60-80 pages per day. 2 reviews behind schedule and writing has gone completely on the backburner.

Stats to date:
# 34 titles finished, 11 off my TBR / 23 new titles - on track.
# June challenge completed.
# Calendar of titles - on track.
# A-Z authors 14/26 completed
# COVID 12/14 completed.
By 1 Aug I need to complete the July and COVID challenges, but I'm getting a wee bit cannier in my choice of titles.

Thanks, Helen. Just behind with the reviews now."
Yes they can take some time to do Have fun :)

Stats to date:
# 40 titles finished, 14 off my TBR / 26 new titles - on track.
# Calendar of titles - on track.
# A-Z authors 15/26 completed
# July challenge & COVID completed.
To my annoyance, among my reads this year is the number of UK authors using 1st person narrative. But picked an unexpected gem in the July challenge in Black River by new-to-me author Tom Harper. As it was an "eye witness" account I'll forgive the 1st person. Next update ~ 1 Sept.

Stats to date:
# 52 titles finished, 21 off my TBR / 31 new titles - on track.
# Calendar of titles - October outstanding.
# A-Z authors 20/26 completed
# QEII - 1/6 read
# October read: 1/4. A bit slack there.

Stats to date
# 65 titles finished with 27 off my TBR.
# Calendar of titles - completed
# A-Z authors 24/26 finished so far.
# QEII - 4/6 read
# December challenge - 2/4 read
# Summer challenge - 2/8 read

Stats to date

# Calendar of titles - completed
# A-Z authors 24/26 finished so far.
# QEII - 4/6 read

Seems as though some of those that are close to the finish line could be done in the next 14 days Alex, if you don't have too much partying ahead! Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks MaryG2E. No parties this year - juggling hospital & doctors appointments for self and family. The books keep me sane. Have a good one.

Read 68 books for the year, plus 1 DNF. Of the 68, 41 were new titles, 27 were from my TBR list - better than the 2:1 ratio I had hoped for. Makes it a good start for 2023.
