Notes: Like last year, there are 100 slots. "Victory Condition" is finishing 52, or one per week. That's not so bad, yes?

Since people said they enjoyed it so much, the creatures section is the same, just retitled.

The sub-genre area generated the most interest, so it has the most slots in it.

There were fewer suggestions this year, so I filled in some blanks.

Hope everyone enjoys.

If there is interest in doing this challenge again next year, I'd encourage people to start thinking about suggestions/slots for the challenge.

Year's winding down.

In honor of '23, you could do 'read a trilogy' or '23 books from the same genre.'

I like those, Audrey.

Also, books 2 and 3 in a series.
Published in 1823, 1923, or 2023.
Year of the Rabbit. Rabbit on cover or title.

The first portion with the different monsters and beings was my favorite section and would like to see that again. :) I also really liked the settings and authors from around the world because it had me choose out of the/my ordinary books.

Eric | 128 comments You could have read a book who was originally written in a specific language (ie. french, japanese, mandarin, italian, etc.)

Liz R (ely018) | 51 comments I was thinking the following:

- Read a fantasy or sci-fi inspired by a historical event
- Featuring a person with a disability

I've decided to not do any reading challenges next year as I seem to never get through my TBR or finish series but I do love all the ideas people come up with so may try to loosely do this one, but im an all or nothing kind of girl...

I had decided also that this will be my only challenge for 2023 as well. I want to read all my paperbacks and hardcovers next year and not worry over what category they fit in. I was supposed to do it this year, but same, all or nothing. lol

"All or nothing" -- yeah, pretty much!

Ian (RebelGeek) Seal (rebel-geek) | 81 comments I'm just seeing this challenge. I'm going to check how many of the 2022 suggestions I read without trying. I think it's going to be a decent number.

I bet it is, Ian. I didn't start trying for specific categories until later in the year.
