I'm desperately hoping that the league and player's union can come up with a new agreement so we can have a season in 2022.

John Always great to see nonfiction represented, Lance!

Martha (marthas48) | 766 comments Great list, Lance! I look forward to your reviews of these books. Happy Reading!

message 14: by Kim. E. (new)

Kim. E. | 133 comments I often went to see the Reds of the 1970's, so a book about any of those players seems only right. I immediately added it and Raise a Fist to my tbr list.

Lance whenever I want to read a sports related book I always go and find your thoughts on them. Thank you for that.

Lance (sportsbookguy) | 373 comments Finished my first one, and it was fantastic- The War: Hagler-Hearns and Three Rounds For The Ages. I remember that fight well and boxing fans of a certain age remember it as one of the most frenetic and action packed bouts, even though it lasted less than three full rounds.

Lance (sportsbookguy) | 373 comments Had forgotten this was on my list for this challenge, but hey, can’t complain when 2 of the 12 are now done! Finished Blood and Fire: The Unbelievable Real-Life Story of Wrestling's Original Sheik.

message 17: by Lance (new)

Lance (sportsbookguy) | 373 comments One more down - finished Pinnacle on the Mound: Cy Young Award Winners Talk Baseball this past weekend. Reading baseball books during Super Bowl weekend...

message 18: by Lance (new)

Lance (sportsbookguy) | 373 comments I have to check this list a little more often - discovered that I had completed one of these last month! Listened to the audio version of Brothers in Arms: Koufax, Kershaw, and the Dodgers' Extraordinary Pitching Tradition

Pam (bluegrasspam) | 228 comments I would like to read Rafa. He’s such an amazing athlete and my all-time favorite tennis player. Hope the book is good!
