Read books set at least 51% in the below regions of Africa and Asia. Your book can move between countries as long as the total within the region is at least 51%. You may repeat tasks at will and skip some if you wish, much as you do for the 10- and 20-point tasks. There is a separate finishers bonus if you complete all 10 tasks just as if this were a sub-challenge.

20.3 Our Town
In honor of the 1938 drama winner, read a book set at least 80% in a small town. The town can be in any country.
20.4 The Reivers
Definition of Reive: verb, historical/Scottish: carry out raids in order to plunder cattle or other goods.
In honor of the 1963 winner, read any book whose focus is thieves, robbers or outlaws.
20.5 The Killer Angels
In honor of the 1975 winner, read any book having to do with a Civil War. See the preamble for the GR genre "Civil War"
20.6 The Color Purple
In honor of the 1983 winner, read one of the top 100 BBBC most inspiring novels.
20.7 The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao
In honor of the 2008 winner, read any book by an author who immigrated. This does not work for those authors like Thackeray, for example, born in India because of father's work, but who then returned to Britain.
20.8 Texas Independence (Rebekah's Task)
Spring is special in Texas. Not only for the fields of wildflowers that turn roadsides blue with the state flower, the Bluebonnet, but in its history as well.
Read a book written by an author who was born in, died in, or currently lives in Texas. If not obvious from the GR profile, please link to reference in appropriate help thread.

20.9 Birthdays (Kate S's Task)
In honor of several spring birthdays in my personal life, read a book in which a character or group of characters eat cake.
20.10 Between the Wars (Elizabeth(Alaska)'s Task
Read any book that takes place 1919-1938. The book could be historical fiction taking place in the period, nonfiction history/biography of the period, or the book may have been originally published during the period and be contemporary to it. Flashbacks or foretelling will be minimal, if at all, amounting to no more than a very few pages.

In celebration of First Contact Day (April 5th), the day Vulcans establish first contact with humanity, and Towel Day (May 25th), a day when fans carry a towel with them to demonstrate their love for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Read a book that features space travel.
10.7 Three Favorite Women (Karen Michele's Task)

10.8 Ukraine Has Not Yet Perished (Anika's Task)
I lived in Ukraine for a year and a half and often heard the national anthem while there, which begins: "Shche ne vmerla Ukraina," or, Ukraine has not yet perished. I hope that remains true.
Read a book set at least 50% in Ukraine or written by an author born in Ukraine.
