Raquel Turner | 5 comments Does anyone know if "The Invention of Wings" by Sue Mock is a clean read?

Maria Nordhagen | 1 comments It is pretty clean, but not completely. One of the main characters enters into a sexual relationship with another slave. She doesn't describe it in any detail, but it bothered me. I loved the book though.

Raquel Turner | 5 comments Thanks so much Maria. I think I might give it a try. I don't like a lot of detail or bad language, but I understand having to have conflicts in a plot. It sounds like that might be what you are saying.

Rachel (rdlevee) | 23 comments I would rate it as clean, but not squeaky clean. A PG13.

Raquel Turner | 5 comments Loved this book so much. I listened to the audio book and thought the 2 narrators made the story even better. Thanks for the input Maria and Rachel.
