Do you listen to music while you read? If so, what do you listen to? I could really do with some new songs/music, especially when it comes to fast-paced action scenes.

Fast-paced scenes I always listen to kpop rap, it gets me feeling upbeat. I then have a more chill playlist I play while I read the slower scenes with all of my kpop favorites!

Yep I listen to all kinds of music. literally all kinds. sometimes classical, sometimes alternative, sometimes relaxing, sometimes pop, sometimes soundtracks... idk its weird

while I read? well i listen to heavy metal mainly, so if it's any other genre of music while I read, I can't concentrate on the book lol

no, it's super distracting. the words sung distract me from the words i'm reading. but if i feel like it i'll put on some classical music. but only slow music because fast stuff also distracts me

Nope, I can't do that. It's too difficult to concentrate on the book when the music is blaring in the background. It's very distracting. It's either listening to music or reading, not simultaneously.

I (almost) always listen to classical music while reading. It makes me go completely lost in the world. But when I'm reading a scene where the music is not fitting or the music is distracting I just read in silence

Yes! I love listening to music while I read. Unless the book is hard for me to concentrate on, or I know the song really well and love it.

Sometimes. the artists I listen to while reading are Mree, Bon Iver, Hammock, and Explosions In The Sky. I listen on the lowest volume so the music acts as background noise.

Not all the time, but I love to listen to specific playlists made for the books on Spotify. The song of Achilles playlist was so beautiful and befitting for the book, that I still occasionally listen to it.

Most of the times I listen to music as it helps me to focus at reading and block other noises such cars from outside, people talking around me etc.

I do if the books boring, i have a specific playlist with like booktok songs and other songs. If its a booktok book i'm reading i'll search up a playlist on spotify.
