A Game of Thrones - 5 stars

I won't go into the story. What needs being told has been written in thousands of reviews.

I rarely re-read series, however when a buddy read was proposed a few months back I thought on it and decided that this one deserved my attention again. I am glad I made that choice. The buddies have offered up great insight and conversation. When I first read this book, I gobbled it up. So, it did not surprise me that I missed so much the first time around and this second read has offered the time and attention this work deserves.

Martin is a gifted story-teller. His works deserve the tag Classic.
