Eavan I get daily emails from this group, and I've been finding that I don't have time to read through the entire list of posts. Is there a way of filtering out certain types of book that I'm unlikely to have read? For example, I don't read romance novels but they are a good chunk of the daily postings and the time I spend just scanning the subject line is time I can't spend later in the list.

Megan | 151 comments I don't know about filtering genres, but you can manage how many and what type of emails you receive. Just go to Edit Profile, click the Email tab, and then check/uncheck the different options to your personal preference. Hope this helps!

There's definitely no way to do this from within this group - i.e., there's nothing Mods can do to filter genres for people. I also think that if you subscribe to the daily digest of any group you're getting everything new from that group, and you can't cherry pick. But to be sure, post your question in the Feedback Group.

R | 3 comments Perhaps divide the group into, WTNOTB-Romance, WTNOTB-Science Fiction, WTNOTB-Fantasy, WTNOTB-Young Adult, WTNOTB-Historical Fiction, etc etc etc.

I too, am frustrated sometimes at not being able to filter through all the requests. Also, that folks, and sadly, my own library, mix SF and fantasy together. Ugh.

Interesting question. One of the challenges is many books crossover genres (e.g., YA + romance + fantasy) or audiences (e.g., YA + older adult fiction).

Another challenge is we already have a large number of folders (13). Adding more folders would be time-consuming for moderators and others to work with.

Here's one suggestion. Use the "Search Discussion Posts" box in the right column (of the desktop website). Try entering your favorite keywords.
