I love when a book is a do not disturb me book. Those types of books are hard for me to put down, except for when life causes a pause to my reading. It has been a while, since I have read a do not disturb me book. I have been having a hard time finding.a book that keeps my attention. I’ve started so many books, which I can read more than one book at a time, but lately, I’ve started books and had to put them to the side. I miss the old romance story telling; they knew how to hold my attention.

I used to have some of her books, but I am not into paranormal books. I have only read one of her books and it has gotten a 1 star from me. Thanks for the suggestion though.

BJ (barbararhodes) | 6 comments OK I have a few authors with do not disturb me books. Paranormal, well everything by Ilona Andrews. Fantasy/paranormal I love Ann Aguirre's Ars Numina series. And, Historical, Annabelle Anders and Elisa Braden both have series I love to re-read.

DemetraP | 56 comments Do not Disturb with a dangerous hero. I've been really enjoying some alien romances lately.

I binge read the entire Ice Planet Barbarians series.

I binge read the Drixonians series.

Laurann Dohner's alien series are great too.

✿ Natalie ✿ | 428 comments It has been a really long time since I read a Do Not Disturb me book!!
I had several years of reading many great books where they just fully absorbed me with captivating characters and storylines.
I miss this kind of book so much, as these kinds of reads are thrilling and so satisfying! And they are, of course, why I love to read.

Books I’ve read lately are either mildly enjoyable (but not amazing) or they’re too bland and I end up not finishing them.

Natalie, it is very hard for me find a Do Not Disturb Me book. I am trying to get back into reading, but reading what? A lot of books are not holding my attention. I find myself getting bored and that’s within the first few pages or I find myself skipping, because of boredom and wanting the story to move along. Back in the day, a good book would have my attention from page one to the last page, because the writing was good. The author knew how to get my attention. Dangerous bad boys were dangerous bad boys. Nowadays, some dangerous bad boys are not really dangerous bad boys. Somewhere down the line, they lose their dangerous bad boys badge.

Too many books are written and not a lot of them is for this old school book reader.

A Klue (fromthesouth) | 19 comments Chasing Cassandra (The Ravenels, #6) by Lisa Kleypas ..That would be "Chasing Cassandra" by Lisa Kleypas. Pretty sure I actually growled at my husband when he interrupted me reading. He made the mistake of asking me to do something during a really good part! lol

That feels like a lifetime ago, btw.
