I've just reached a 140 pages. It seems like Scarlett's life is over. No Ashley, widow and with a child. I loved the fun, frolicking Scarlett.

Scarlett never divorced, it wasn't done in those times. And the war lasts for four years, generally war years are not easy either.

Yeah, well, it won't be a fun, easy story in any case.
Keep going. If you really don't know, you're in for a treat.
If you're looking for a light hearted read, this isn't it. It is really good but you have to have an idea what you're in for or you could be disappointed.
Oh I just got so much better. Can't keep this book down. This was not expected.... No wonder it's an all time classic
