I was at first kinda doubtful about this book cause i didn't know how Alice could tell a story without pictures. But she did it! I don't actually know how to review this book. Lets just say there were no going around things or not talking about them.
I felt like it was raw text and i liked that about it. Everyone was a human even Michael. I first thought when i read the text that it would be a story about a girl who meets a boy that is completely opposite of her and they fall in love and full each other. But that's not what happened that is not what happens. Michael * the ray of sunshine* wasn't only a ray of sunshine, but a human whit other feelings.
I cant say i relate to Tori Spring at all... i don't have mental health problems that bad. It was also good to see how Charlies eating disorder and mental health problems had impacted to her. This book can be too much for some people it was sometimes too much even for me, but that didn't take my love for this book. I was confused sometimes, but i think that's okay.
The Plot:
There is a mystery of who is Solitaire's writer, but that's not the main thing/ the main plot. I think its a story about Tori growing and her friends growing. I don't know how to describe it better, but if i still haven't convinced for you to read it... maybe it isn't a book for you.
Characters:
Victoria/Tori Spring
She is a human. I felt like she thought no one really cared for her in the start. That she was a bit alone in this world. I liked to see her love for his brothers and friends. She really grew up in this book.
Michael:
Like i said before i thought he was gonna be a ray of sunshine, but it turned out he is a human as well whit real human feelings. I loved that about him he also somehow helped Tori i think.
Becky:
A human as well.... Everyone in this book felt like they were real. Real humans. I tought she was brave,nice and a bitch sometimes.
Lucas:
I tought he was a normie at first like a shy akward boy. Well turns out he is that and much more.
If you are still reading this rewiev its a sign to go read it. 🙃
