Ok so I only remember what i think are plot details from the second and third books. Not even sure its a trilogy. CHARACTERS-nock and his twin brother who has a name also associated with archery. One of them dies in the final battle. There were a few races i think but it also could have just been nations with very specific cultures. i.e. nock and brother were part of the nation that loved archery and lived in the trees. similar characteristics to lotr wood elves. Side note these are not the main characters but are involved in a lot. There were several of these different clearly defined cultures. The main antagonist is this ancient evil beast. In the books it has been sleeping or imprisoned for so long its super weak. So the minions of the bad guys pull it around in a massive cage from city to city. It is the father of some race, maybe dragons, i.e. was around at the beginning of the world. PLOT- There is something about some type of key or object that can be used to awaken a ancient power. This was hidden in a special tree and only a few beings that were already there at the beginning of creation or something knew of it. I think i remember this being the father of all trees or something. This ancient power is later revealed to be some type of creature, (probably a dragon but i cant remember, might be the father/mother of all dragons). The good guys start figuring out this is happening when they discover the 7 sleepers, (I think they are called this), to be awakened, and the father of all trees cut down or burned through. these were some type of wolves put to sleep and buried under special trees that kept them asleep. these are essentially the ancient creature's super powerful minions. everything else i remember is just about one of the final battles. after the good guys find out that the forest civilization was burned to the ground with ease they realize the beast has already been awakened. They confront it in an epic battle. All the different civilizations contribute something. I remember one had a air-force of dragons. I'm pretty sure they lose horribly but they win in the end because of some type of, "by trying to break the prophecy the bad guy ended up fulfilling the prophecy" type deal. Anyways if anyone has any ideas i will love you forever. thanks for checking out my request.
