I don’t read certain genres. I know what I like to read. Plus, from romance genre to genre, stories can be the same. You can have a crazy, dangerous bad boy in contemporary romance, just as you can have a crazy, dangerous bad boy in paranormal romance.
I have been reading romance books for over 30 years and I notice the difference in older story telling and new story telling.

I read Alice by Christina Henry, and I just fell hard in love with him. He's kind of insane and unpredictable, but also lovable and he'd do anything for Alice. That's pretty much one of my favorite kind of heroes right there.
