Call me crazy, but I have only seen the respective movie when it comes to this story. Tragic I know. However, it is one of if not my favorite vampire movies because of the psyche and aesthetic by which the story is told. With the new series out on T.V. now, I'm debating whether or not to check it out when the movie means as much to me as it does. I am afraid of the story feeling possibly a bit too "woke", but I'm hoping those who have seen it can debunk this.
