Nora Currie | 72 comments How does it work? Do we read a certain amount of chapters or pages daily or do we read at our own pace?

Honestly, the prequel was really good. Even with Snow as the protagonist. It added so much to the world and lore.

Nora Currie | 72 comments Does anyone else wonder what Gale was going to say to Katniss when they were separated at Justice Hall?

As someone who suffers from depression I don’t view suicide even if it involves fictional characters as a joke, so I’m really sorry but I’m going to read this by myself.

I am extremely sorry Nora: that was a insensitive thing of me to say. I should have thought about the severity of my comment before posting. If you see this, I hope you can forgive me and I will be more mindful going forward.

I do. I personally assumed he was going to say 'I love you' to her, but I'm honestly not quite sure.

I think the same thing! It’s kind of funny because the same thing happened in one of my favorite novels where the author mentioned that these two characters wanted to say three words to one another but the author never mentioned what they were and I thought it was those same three words, Alexandria:))

Nora Currie | 72 comments I unfortunately had to dnf this book due to the way that the author treated disabled people. As a disabled person, I was very disturbed by the way that they were treated in the book. I am very sorry. But I did enjoy discussing the book with all of you :))

May I ask which section? Is it about the Avoxes or something separate? A character ends up disabled later, and I like how it was handled because I'm actually a fellow disabled person as well. So I'm very curious as to which part of the book you are referencing

Hi Alexandria! It was the part where Rue said that the guy who acted like a three year old was shot for stealing sunglasses and the way that the girl in Katniss's was treated like a pet and fed scraps. It was super upsetting to read that part for me. Thanks for being so understanding :))
