I also hope to finish at least 2-3 books I have already started and never finished.

I was thinking of placing it under a book released over 5 years ago. But, you know how that changes.

Alexandra | 447 comments Finished book #2 Curiouser and Curiouser Steampunk Alice in Wonderland (Steampunk Fairy Tales #1) by Melanie Karsak 4 Stars! What a fun retelling of one of my absolute favorite books! Had a blast doing a buddy read of it with Miss Kathy! Looking forward to the rest of the series!

That looks like a fun book! I've come to really love Alice in Wonderland. Need to put this on my list.

Alexandra | 447 comments Finished book #3 God of Deliverance - Bible Study Book A Study of Exodus 1-18 by Jen Wilkin 5 Stars! Started this study in the Fall and finally sat down to finish it before starting the next book (part) this week!

Alexandra | 447 comments Finished book #6 Rosa Parks Freedom Rider by Keith Brandt 5 Stars! Sadly this was my first book to read about Miss Rosa Parks but it won't be my last! Never knew how influential she was in changing laws! Very interesting read!

Alexandra | 447 comments Finished book #7 Six Crimson Cranes (Six Crimson Cranes, #1) by Elizabeth Lim 4 Stars! This is definitely not my normal read but I am really glad I gave it a try after a friend told me I needed to read it! Beautiful cover too!

Alexandra | 447 comments Finished book #8 Alice's Adventures in Wonderland / Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll 4 Stars! I honestly don't know how many times I have read this amazing book but it is always an adventure! This time I read it aloud to my daughter and she kept saying "wow this is weird" lol. I definitely plan to read it again (i have a collection of different editions) but I do have to say Through the Looking Glass is still not my favorite but i absolutely love the first book!

Alexandra | 447 comments Finished book #9 Unspeakable The Tulsa Race Massacre by Carole Boston Weatherford 5 Stars! I have only been in the state of Oklahoma for about 13 or so years and didn't grow up here so I don't know much of its history but I have heard about The Tulsa Race Massacre a few times so i was thankful a friend of mine told me about this book. Absolutely heartbreaking but glad that i finally know a little more about this tragic time!

It's i guess considered a children's book but is really well written and such a tragic thing that happened! Hope you get to check it out!

Alexandra | 447 comments Finished book #10 The Dutch House by Ann Patchett 3 Stars! I was really hoping to love this more but it was just ok. The last few chapters picked up a bit but overall it wasn't amazing to me but will try other books by her to see if I like them any more. I did listen to some of it read by Tom Hanks and I enjoyed that

Aww thank you Alondra!! To be honest I am quite behind on my goal right now but hope to catch back up at some point. My mom unexpectedly got sick late March and passed April 4th 😭 so I hadn't been reading much for a bit but recently got back into it �

Started going to some grief counseling at our Church and it has definitely helped!
