I guess I'm going to have to get Fairytale. I've read some books in Tursten's Inspector Huss's books but not this series. Good luck in 2023.

I read Cackle this year and really liked it. Looking forward to the latest one!

Denise! Not a 2nd list!?? My dear, you are brave!

You know I absolutely loved Fairy Tale!! No action the first 1/3 of the book; but the story is compelling.

Good luck again!!

I have Mad Honey on my list, too.

I read Housemaid this past year.

I love making my lists for the new year.

Have fun!

Ioana | 2055 comments This looks like a fun list, and I haven't read any of these books. Can't wait to see what you think of them, happy reading!

Good luck with your challenge. I'm thinking of having Fairytale by Stephen King on mine for 2023

Michelle (marcher08) | 1577 comments Nice list! I'm hoping to read Mad Honey and Lessons in Chemistry too. I will be watching for your reviews.

I'm hoping to read The Latecomer in 2023 as well, and Lessons in Chemistry too. Good list you have!

message 16: by Denise (new)

Denise (drams5) | 323 comments Well I'm a dork. I started reading Mad Honey for the group read this month. Didn't think a thing of it. I just realized it's on this list and I wasn't supposed to start it until January. 🤦

So I'll look around for a sub. Stay tuned!

message 17: by Denise (new)

Denise (drams5) | 323 comments P.S. Mad Honey is pretty good so far. Worth re-doing the list. 😂

Denise (drams5) | 323 comments Ok, subbed in The Cloisters by Katy Hays.

message 19: by Denise (new)

Denise (drams5) | 323 comments Starting with The Cloisters. It is good so far, but reminding me a bit of two others I've read recently. (The It Girl and The Maidens).

I'm waiting for it from the library for the second time. Apparently there was another book with the same title (maybe not the "the") I put on hold the first time by mistake.

I hope you love it!

Denise (drams5) | 323 comments I had forgotten how much I love Jojo Moyes books. Sigh...Someone Else's Shoes was the comfort read I needed this week.

message 23: by Denise (new)

Denise (drams5) | 323 comments I was feeling like I was falling behind with this list, but 3 books in March is right on track (as long as I keep reading the list and not the new releases). :)

message 24: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (marcher08) | 1577 comments Good luck Denise. New books are always a temptation.

Same here. I feel like if I can just hit 1 or 2 a month, I am doing good. Plus, it helps my series list. :)

message 27: by Denise (new)

Denise (drams5) | 323 comments I loved Lessons in Chemistry! An Elderly Lady Is Up To No Good was darker than I anticipated, but I liked it.

message 28: by Denise (new)

Denise (drams5) | 323 comments Instead of spending my free, quiet hour reading a book from this list, I spent it jotting down ideas for the 2024 list. I have a problem.

I haven't even thought of 2024. I'm not ready.
