Featured-Authors-2023---ND-revised-2.jpg

UPDATED AS OF 1/22/2023:

Exciting news! I have nine authors lined up and that is it for this year!

In February, author, Catherine Cavendish will be with us to read her book, Dark Observation.

In March, author & publisher, Kevin J. Kennedy will be with us to read his anthology, The Horror Collection: Sapphire Edition along with the authors within the book.

In April, author, Jason Parent will be with us to read his book, Seeing Evil.

In May, author, Mia Dalia will be with us to read her book, Estate Sale. (Note: there is no link yet as the book is not out yet but it will be by the time Mia joins us. )

In June, author, Jeffrey Caston will be with us to read his book, Immunity.

In July, author, Jonathan Janz will be with us to read his book, The Raven

In September, author, William Massa will be with us to read his book, Damnation Code

In October, author, Ronald McGillvray will be with us to read his book, Cutter's Deep. (Note: there is no link yet for the book as it is not officially out but it will be by the time we have Ronald with us in October)

In November, author, John Everson will be with us to read his book, Voodoo Heart.

We will do everything the same like we did last year with creating a thread for the author and their book one month ahead of time so everyone has a chance to grab the book.

Hope to see you all there for the reads. :)

I have another announcement to make!

KJK Publishing (Kevin J. Kennedy) has agreed to come be with us in March of 2023 for this book:

The Horror Collectio Sapphire Edition (The Horror Collection Book 13) by Graham Masterton The Horror Collectio: Sapphire Edition

All the authors that are in this book are welcome to join us as we read the book.

We are looking forward to reading all the stories and interacting with the authors along with the publisher as well. :)

I've had so much happening in the last few days that I'd forgotten I bought it a couple of days ago.

I'm intrigued by the idea of occult operations within (or preceding) the 2nd World War.

It's gonna be a great year! I need to ask for a cool calendar for Christmas to keep track of all of this fun!

Nyssa | 262 comments Sally wrote: "It's gonna be a great year! I need to ask for a cool calendar for Christmas to keep track of all of this fun!"

I actually tried that this year, but it didn't work for me. I'm a moody reader and need an easier way to move things around.

So I created a sortable "group & buddy read" shelf here, allowing me to adjust the book locations accordingly.

Of course, I didn't think of it until after I had already overcommitted January 2023.

@Nyssa Ooh that's smart. My brain works better with lists I've written down so I have to commit on pen and paper or it didn't happen. But your shelf idea sounds really great

message 31: by Netanella (new)

Netanella | 100 comments I agree with Nyssa! I've been using the shelf idea for a while now and it works wonders. Plus, I don't have random lists and spreadsheets written down somewhere. It's all digital.

Of course, it works for me because I've been e-reading exclusively for a while now.

2022 has been all ebooks for me as well. But I've challenged myself to concentrate on my personal (RL) bookshelf and to finish a few previously purchased/started series in 2023, so it will be a mix of paper and electronic next year.

I get that! Writing does help information stick in one's memory.
