Author: Fannie Flagg
Would you recommend this book? Yes. I only read her Christmas book before & really enjoyed it. Her books are filled with characters that you may recognize in your family. Good story.

Author: Katherena Vermette
I would recommend this graphic novel because it's a great intro into Metis/Canadian history.

Brandon Harbeke | 696 comments Title: The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Vol. 3: Squirrel, You Really Got Me Now
Authors: Ryan North and Erica Henderson

I would recommend this book. Squirrel Girl solves problems in more clever ways than punching or otherwise harming villains most of the time. It's like fun comic book therapy, and I love the humorous or informative asides that the writers include at the bottom of the pages.

Author: Axie Oh
Would you recommend this book? I think if you like YA fantasy, you will enjoy this. I kind of guessed what was going on halfway through, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story or the characters.

Megan | 467 comments Title: Token Black Girl
Author: Danielle Prescod
Would you recommend this book? Yes. While the memoir does provide an insider's look at the fashion and beauty industry, it's more of an exploration of identity and social conditioning.

Jamie (belalusia) | 8 comments Title: The It Girl
Author: Ruth Ware
Would you recommend this book? Yes, it was unputdownable, and even though I thought I had it figured out, I totally didn't, which was great. I enjoyed reading it.

Author: Kelsey McKinney
Yes, it was a good middle of the road, coming of age story about a hypocritical famous evangelical pastor and his two daughters in Texas.

Author: Susanna Kaysen
Would you recommend this book? Yes! I was so surprised. I thought I would hate it, given the movie, which I'd seen.
I worked on the same unit that the author in which the author was a patient, and I loved my time at McLean's. I half (mostly !) - expected lots of whining and privilege. But It was actually very good, realistic, and had a remarkable amount of insight. Really worth the read.
