Would you recommend this book? Yes, it was very enjoyable. The description "high fantasy with low stakes" fits it perfectly. Just a nice, feel good book.

Would you recommend this book? Yes...as long as you are ok with spending some time with unlikeable characters (they do grow/evolve/mature over the course of the story though). One of my book clubs selected this as our pick for February and had a really great discussion - so many angles to explore!

Title: Onyx and Ivory
Author: Mindee Arnett
Recommend?: Only if you're a ya fantasy fan. It's okay and very long. It does have horse death so be warned.

Author: Karen M. McManus
Would you recommend this book? Yes, if you are a YA fan, you will probably really enjoy it.
