Best of luck with your challenge, Lindsey ! Doing any reading challenge with 2 small kids difficult.

While i didn't listen to some of the titles you listed, i read several and there wasn't one i didn't enjoy. Have fun!

Good to know! I'm excited about quite a few of these :)

Well done! I didn't remember that this was a goal for you. And that it turned out to be rewarding is even sweeter.

You have a great memory! - it wasn't on my original list. I added it when I found a paperback copy and another group was reading it together. I'm glad I did!

Still crawling through The Five: The Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper ... it's good so far, but it's almost like the author has gotten so caught up in getting everything accurate that she's forgotten she's also telling a story. I am quite impressed with her footnotes, index and accuracies, but it's making it just a bit difficult to really get into.

Thumbs up or down for H Mart, Lindsey? As i noted elsewhere, i liked it and the look at her growing years/mother.

I really enjoyed it, gave it 5 stars. I listened to the audio, which she reads herself. I found her to be quite charming and self-aware, which isn't always the case with memoirs. I loved how honest she was about her relationship with her mother and how both the struggles and the immense love showed through.

I generally just read whatever holds I have as they become available at my library/on the free library audio apps.
My goal for this year is to read one "actual" (hardback/paperback) book/month. As opposed to audiobooks - which is my go-to book medium for life with two little kids.
